Where to Enjoy Live Music in Rhinelander This Summer
From solo acts to group performances, acoustic artists to jazz, and everything in-between, you are bound to hear something you enjoy! Here are several opportunities to take in the live music this summer in Rhinelander.
Outdoor Concerts
Stop by the Hodag Park Amphitheater for the summer concert series, held on the shores of Boom Lake!
Dates: Every other Tuesday, 6:30-8:30pm. June 2 – September 8, 2026.
Cost: Free
Rhinelander Area Community Band Concerts
Also held at the Hodag Park Amphitheater, the Rhinelander Community Band performs on alternating Tuesdays from the Hodag Park Concert Series. Enjoy music from local performers!
Dates: Every other Tuesday, 6:30pm. June 9 – August 18, 2026.
Cost: Free
Music Festivals
Held in Rhinelander since 1978, Hodag Country Fest is an annual music festival that features popular country music performers. This year’s headliners are Russell Dickerson, Brothers Osborne, Old Dominion, and Nate Smith. Other performers this year include Neal McCoy, Jo Dee Messina, LeAnn Rimes, and more.
Dates: July 9-12, 2026

Music & Arts Venues
Check out ArtStart’s Roots Concert Series, showcasing talented artists throughout the region! The summer series is called “Roots on the Road” and is held at Nicolet College in the Northwoods Center.
Dates: Traditionally held on the second Thursday of each month at 6:30pm (June 11, July 9, August 13, 2026)
Cost: No ticket needed- $10 donation recommended to support the artist.
ArtStart also holds a monthly “In Progress” Open Mic event on the last Tuesday of each month at 7pm at the Hilgermann Center. Bring your artistic works of all kinds, whether it is a poem, song, film, or painting! Sign up to perform on ArtStart’s website.
Nicolet Live! offers a variety of performing arts events, including music, theater, and more throughout the year.
