Hodag Country Festival

The Hodag County Festival—known to locals and attendees alike as just “Hodag”—is an annual music festival that welcomes some of country’s top performers to the Northwoods of Wisconsin. The event has been held in Rhinelander since 1978 and has welcomed everyone from Darius Rucker and Eric Church to Loretta Lynn and Willie Nelson.
The festival is traditionally held the second weekend in July each year. This year’s event will take place July 9-12, 2026 with performers including Russell Dickerson, Neal McCoy, Jo Dee Messina, Brothers Osborne, LeAnn Rimes, Old Dominion, and more!
