Mud Lake Trails

Located just north of Rhinelander, the Mud Lake Trails feature more than eight miles of scenic singletrack through hardwoods, pines, and cedar swamps. Popular with mountain bikers in the warmer months, the trail system offers a mix of technical hand-built trails and an easier machine-built route for riders of varying skill levels. In winter, the trails are groomed for fat tire biking and snowshoeing, making Mud Lake a year-round destination for outdoor adventure.

Mostly single- and double-track mountain bike trail. Groomed for fat biking and snowshoeing in the winter.

Directions: 3.5 miles north of Rhinelander on Crystal Lake Rd.
