Hanson Lake Road, Rhinelander
Hanson Lake is a quiet, secluded, 35-acre lake with a maximum depth of 23 feet. There is a small beach area and a trail that winds its way through the woods around the lake, along with a public boat launch. Access the parking area off of Hanson Lake Road. To get to the parking area near the trailhead, take Highway 47 north to Hanson Lake Road (about half a mile from the intersection of Highway 47 and U.S. Highway 8).
