Located on the scenic Nicolet College campus, the Dr. Richard Nelson Recreation Trails offer two miles of beginner to intermediate trails through peaceful Northwoods forest. Open year-round, the unpaved trails are perfect for hiking, mountain biking, and snowshoeing, providing a quiet escape just minutes from downtown Rhinelander. The trails are open for all non-motorized recreation and welcome leashed pets.
Trails range from beginner to intermediate difficulty. All-season, all-purpose except motorized vehicles and horse riding.
Directions: Located at the Nicolet College campus off Hwy G. Enter campus on College Dr., follow the road down the hill and take an immediate right at the speed bump.
