Enterprise Winter Recreation Trail

The Enterprise Winter Recreation Trail offers a peaceful escape for cross-country skiing, snowshoeing, fat tire biking, and winter hiking southeast of Rhinelander. Winding through the Oneida County Forest and the Enterprise Hemlocks State Natural Area, the trail features scenic woodlands, old-growth hemlocks, rolling terrain, and well-maintained routes for a variety of winter adventures. Whether you’re looking for a leisurely outing or an active day outdoors, it’s a great place to experience winter in the Rhinelander area.
Beginner to intermediate, some hilly terrain. The trail is groomed for fat biking; however, cross-country skiing and snowshoeing are also permitted on the trail. Please note that this trail is for winter use only.
Directions: Located approximately 8 miles south of Hwy 8 on Hwy G
Mileage: 8 miles
Trail Surface: Unpaved, Groomed (Fat Biking)
