Kovac Planetarium

The Kovac Planetarium is the world’s largest mechanical globe planetarium, constructed by hand over the course of a decade by Frank Kovac Jr. This remarkable 22-foot rotating globe features more than 5,000 hand-painted stars, accurately depicting the northern night sky.
