Spooky seasonal events on tap
We’re getting past peak fall color season here in Hodag Country, but we’ve still got plenty of fun fall events on our schedule. Here are a couple that you should put on your calendar.
October 17: Fall Fest 2015 at Hanson’s Garden Village. Looking for some fall family fun? Head to Hanson’s Garden Village in Rhinelander for their Fall Fest, which will be held (rain or shine) from 10am to 3pm Saturday, Oct. 17. The fun includes a one-acre corn maze, a petting zoo, tractor rides and more.
October 23: Not-So-Scary Halloween at the YMCA of the Northwoods. This free event will take place on the Stoney Pines Trail (located behind the Y) from 5 to 7pm on Friday, Oct. 23. Travel the crushed-granite trail to check out the decorations, and bring the young ones for some trick-or-treating. When you’re done walking the trail, head inside the Y for refreshments and chili. For more information call the YMCA at 715-362-YMCA.
Note: The Rhinelander Area is open, and all visitors are welcome. Please travel safely and responsibly. Some businesses and events may have modified hours or procedures; please contact businesses or event organizers directly for specific information.
