Fall Events in Hodag Country
Fall is a lively time in Hodag Country. Every weekend, festive events entertain visitors of all ages. From farmers markets to special events for kids, theres always something fun to do in Rhinelander in the fall.
Hodag Farmers Market
Stock your pantry with late-season fruits and vegetables and pick out the perfect pumpkin for carving. The markets are a colorful way to discover fresh foods and meet the people that grew this tasty produce. Save room in your trunk: you’ll want to bring some of this bounty home! The market takes place from 8 am to 1 pm Saturdays at Pioneer Park.
Fall Fest
Don’t miss this annual fall celebration at Hanson’s Garden Village. This fun event includes a corn maze, petting zoo, games for kids, a scarecrow contest and lots of beautiful pumpkins available for purchase. Proceeds benefit the various school groups that help put on the event.
Not So Scary Halloween Trail
Every year, the YMCA of the Northwoods in Rhinelander transforms the Kiwanis Stoney Pines Trail into a Halloween wonderland. Costumed entertainers hand out candy at 20 trick-or-treat sites. Refreshments and soup are served in the YMCA’s gymnasium.
