Rhinelander Cafe & Pub. A family-owned restaurant located downtown.

Favorite Fish Fry
Al-Gen Dinner Club. An authentic log cabin restaurant, built in 1932.

Favorite Way to Spend Time on the Lake
Fishing/ice fishing. Makes sense, since the Rhinelander area is known as the Ice Fishing Capital of the World.
Favorite Rainy Day Activity
Going to the movies. Area theaters include the Rouman Cinema in Rhinelander and Lakeland Cinema in Woodruff.

Favorite Lake for Fun
Boom Lake. Enjoy family time at the beach on Thayer Street. There’s a park nearby with a picnic area and basketball and tennis courts for even more fun.

Favorite Place to Watch a Sunset
Boom Lake. Bring a couple of lawn chairs and watch the sun go down. Don’t forget the snacks. You’ll want to stay for this show.
