Almon Park Trail

This level trail on the shores of Buck Lake offers 2.25 miles of snowshoeing. Dont miss this beautiful trail. The trail is located approximately five miles south of Rhinelander.

Cassian County Two-Way Trail

Cross-country Skiing
Glide along 15 miles of well-groomed cross-country ski trails winding through the forest and passing the shores of three different lakes. The trail is located 5.5 miles west of Highway 47 on Highway K.

CAVOC Trails

Cross-country Skiing and Snowshoeing
Five miles of challenging cross-country ski trails run through the forest in loops of varying lengths. The trails are located off South Shore Drive near Holiday Acres Resort.

Enterprise County Trail

Located south of Rhinelander, this hilly trail is appropriate for beginner through intermediate level snowshoers. The trail is located on County Highway G, eight miles south of Highway 8.

Holiday Trails – Long Lake and Old Farm Trails

Cross-country skiing and Snowshoeing
These two trail systems, totaling 7.5 miles, run through peaceful forests. The trails connect with the CAVOC Trails. Snowshoeing is available on the Long Lake Trail. Both trails are located at Holiday Acres Resort on South Shore Drive, four miles east of Rhinelander.

Northwoods Ski Trail

Ski eight miles of expertly groomed trails on this excellent golf course. The trail is located 2.5 miles west of Rhinelander, just off Highway 8 on Golf Course Road.

Nose Lake County Trail

Cross-country Skiing
Choose from five and nine mile loops running through relatively flat terrain. The trail is located 12 miles west of Rhinelander between Highway K and Highway 8.

Rhinelander Community Ski Trails

Cross-country Skiing
This short 1.5-mile trail is located near the Rhinelander High School, 665 Coolidge Avenue.

Washburn Lake County Trail

Cross-country Skiing and Snowshoeing
Explore 15 miles of hilly trails. The trails are located seven miles west of Rhinelander and three miles north of Woodboro and Highway 8, just off Washburn Lake Road.
