Trails to ride

The Rhinelander Area is the perfect hub for snowmobiling in northern Wisconsin. More than 1,000 miles of trails run throughout Oneida County, and these trails link to thousands more miles of trails throughout the Northwoods and Michigan’s Upper Peninsula.

Throughout the winter, the area’s excellent snowfall and consistently low temperatures keep trails well-covered and in top condition. The Hodag Sno-Trails snowmobile club grooms and maintains nearly 150 miles of snowmobile trails in the area, and these trails link Rhinelander to other great snowmobiling destinations in the Northwoods, including Tomahawk, Lake Tomahawk, Three Lakes, Minocqua, Eagle River, Crandon, and Antigo.
